My Story…
In August 2025 I caught meningitis, but it went untreated for over a week and so it left me with a condition called hemiplegic migraines which causes me to lose feeling in the left side of my body and as of yet we have not been able to find anything that works long enough for me to have feeling in that side permanently. Botox has been what gives me my feeling back the longest which is about five weeks before it wears off and I lose feeling again. And the migraines come back stronger than before. It has just been a real struggle trying to navigate this new condition, sometimes defeating but I am fighting it every day.
